I'm going to help you figure out what's preventing you from sticking up for your dreams and goals on a regular basis. I'd like to help you create a plan that is designed just for you that will help you to set boundaries and manage anxiety around your personal triggers.

When we work together, I plan to take the passenger seat to my work with you. You guide the topics and the focus of therapy. I'm there to point out things as we drive and to ask you what you are noticing as you go along. I'll definitely let you know if you miss a potential "stop or exit" along the way.

I hope to help you live more in the present and less in your head. I want you to feel like you are better able to scope out healthy relationships and relationship behaviors after our work together.

You might have been in therapy at least once before. You started off with high hopes and left that experience feeling like you didn't really get what you came in for. I get that trying again with another stranger is something you might not be 100% about right now. You might also wonder if maybe your problems are different and maybe you really truly cannot be helped.

I believe in you and your ability to make changes no matter how big or small or slow they may seem to you. I know you can do this with the support of a counselor who's got your best interest in mind and a variety of coping skills to share with you.

My Approach

I really believe that you… yes "you" can change. I know that you have probably done a lot of self-work along the way. My goal is to help you see things in a new way, stay accountable, and not lose hope in yourself or the process. I think you are doing a lot to get yourself where you want to be. You might just need some support and guidance along the way, sometimes we don't even realize it.

I see your humanity and respond to it with my own. It can be hard to be a person and I get that. I’ll provide you services like I'd want a therapist to provide me.

You don't have to continue feeling badly about yourself and your self-worth. I can help you to see your strengths for what they are and even see how your weaknesses have shaped you into being the person you are, which is pretty amazing.
